Fully renovated in 2024, it's ideal for families or groups of friends seeking a peaceful retreat in the serene, scenic hamlet of Narro, part of the municipality of Casargo, located in Alta Valsassina, Lecco province.
Known for its authentic atmosphere and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, Narro is a popular destination for hiking and nature enthusiasts. Just a short distance away is Big Bench #223, one of the famous "giant benches" designed by artist Chris Bangle. This bench is part of an artistic and tourist project offering a unique observation point to admire the local landscapes. Big Bench #223 has become a beloved attraction for both locals and visitors alike, perfect for panoramic photos and moments of relaxation in a charming natural setting.
The apartment accommodates up to 7 guests, with all beds located in the sleeping area: a bedroom with a double bed and a mountain-style room featuring two classic wooden bunk beds and an additional fold-out bed. The living area has been transformed into an open space with a lounge and kitchenette opening onto a terrace overlooking the valley, the apartment's true gem. Every detail is designed for those who appreciate sustainable tourism: a large wood stove (provided by the property) heats the living area, while other rooms can be warmed by energy-efficient Swedish heaters. Hot water is supplied by an electric boiler, and the kitchen is equipped with an induction cooktop. Sustainability is enhanced by the wood heating in the living area, the absence of gas, the use of microplastic-free consumables, and LED bulbs in all rooms. Even the firelighters are made from organic material.
